Certified in 2012, Amanda is a third-generation Pilates teacher who has worked with clients from all walks of life.
Pilates has supported her through her own health journey of healing from endometriosis, chronic pain, hip and knee injuries, and the physical demands of pregnancy and postnatal recovery with her two daughters.
This personal experience ignited a passion for helping others, regardless of their age, ability, or goals. Amanda believes in empowering her clients with the knowledge and confidence to reconnect with their bodies, so Pilates becomes more than just exercise, it becomes a tool for creating lasting change in everyday life.
Committed to lifelong learning, Amanda continually expands her knowledge through ongoing education and professional development. Alongside her Pilates training, she is a qualified meditation teacher, somatic movement educator, and has undertaken further study in coaching, breath-work, neuroscience, poly-vagal theory, and compassionate inquiry.
When she's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and making the most of New Zealand's beautiful outdoors.
Having travelled extensively and lived in several countries, Amanda brings a warm, open-minded, and down-to-earth approach to her teaching, making her easy to connect with and relate to.
